Vidyalankar has instituted an annual lecture series titled as “Prof. C.S. Deshpande Memorial Lecture” to perpetuate the memory of the Founder of Vidyalankar – Shri Chandrashekhar S. Deshpande, an outstanding Mathematics teacher, who devoted himself wholeheartedly to the pursuit of academics. To commemorate his birth anniversary, eminent scholars and illustrious nationally renowned personalities are invited to deliver intellectual talks to uplift the learning experience of the Vidyalankar audience. Padma Bhushan Dr. Shashikumar Chitre, Padma Bhushan Dr. Kirit Parikh, Dr. Narendra Jadhav and Padma Vibhushan Dr. Anil Kakodkar have delivered their talks at our Institute so far.
