Experienced Finance professional with interest areas of (i) Portfolio Management & (ii) Payments (Cards). Majority of my corporate experience is in Bank of America (Continuum India) and HDFC Bank. My key work areas were:
HDFC Bank
- Product Development – Launched Millennia Range of Cards– Millennia Credit & Debit Card.
- Franchise Management – Network cost and incentive for Visa, MasterCard and Rupay
- Card P&L Management – Card level and overall profitability Debit Cards
- Global Investment Banking Team – Business origination and client coverage efforts
- Valuation models – Absolute and relative valuations using trading comparable, DCF valuations and precedent transaction
While in working in industry, I used to conduct Financial Literacy courses of NGOs. Slowly I developed a penchant of teaching and decided to move into academia. I cleared UGC Net (Management) and got selected in VIT (MMS Department). I teach Finance courses – Corporate Finance and Risk Management using Derivatives.
Apart from Academics, I am an avid reader. I like to travel and sometimes try my hand at cooking.
