As technology develops in leaps and bounds, the opportunities for expanding the field of computing grow even more rapidly. The Computer Engineering course gives a sound grounding in the fundamentals of computing and an understanding of the underlying engineering principles. A Computer Engineering student studies the design of digital hardware and software systems including communication systems and computers. They are involved in many aspects of computing from the designing of individual Microprocessors, Personal Computers and Super Computers to circuit design.
Vidyalankar Polytechnic offers a three year Diploma course in Computer Engineering affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE), Mumbai and Approved by All India Council for Technical Education.

Mumbai Fire Brigade Mobile Application which will be available for the citizens of Mumbai after downloading the application on mobile, user can use the application for sending emergency requests along with incident location and photos which will be consider as an valid request, once the request is sent, the control room is notified and appropriate action is taken which solves the problem of knowing the location, providing exact details of the incident along with user details.

Monitoring the vital parameters of a greenhouse namely temperature and soil moisture through Internet of things (IOT)technology. This project proposes a wireless monitoring and control system for greenhouse based on Raspberry Pi and Android smart phone for solving the problems such as poor real time data monitoring, excessive manpower requirement and to overcome the shortcoming of the wired system such as complex wiring.
